Let Not Your heart be troubled
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
Jesus tells us to not let our hearts be troubled. I know it’s not always easy, but it is a choice we have to make. Here are things to help you brought your troubles.
Jesus Has already won the Battle
When dealing with a life crisis, or an issue that makes us worry or feel anxious we must first turn it over to Jesus in prayer.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Through the name of Jesus we have authority over our troubles. We have victory over them because Jesus has already claimed the victory.
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
Through him you are victorious. Just because you do not see it yet does not mean it isn’t there. You mus have faith.
Faith makes God happy and allows our miracles to flow
My mother recenelty gave me a Women’s Bible she found at a local thrift store. Mine had been stolen (hopefully they put it into practice.) I really love the Bible, whoever owned it before me is a lot like me, they even have similar handwriting. In the back is a not that says “faith and patience: the power twins.” We wait are called to wait on the Lord in expectation.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
Faith is essential because it our trust and belief in God, that he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and that the Bible is true. Pastor John Hager said ina sermon once something along the lives of not having it faith and allowing yourself to worry is being a practical aethiest. That is not good. Sometimes we can fall into the pint of believing if we don’t worry we will somehow jinx ourselves and let something bad happen. first of all, we should not believe in jinxes, as that is not of God and will allow the enemy in. Second, the Bible says not to worry or is to doubt God.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Find Comfort in the Word of God
The Word of God is full of promises. We are called to stand on those promises, pray those promises, speak those promises. We can’t though, if we are not reading out Bibles. We need to read about all the great people of the Bible all the times God rescued the Israelites. We need to read about Jesus while he was on earth and all the things he had to teach us. We need to read the prophecies and what they hold for us and the future of the world. In the Word you will find peace and comfort.
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge; I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.
We must make the choice to put worry behind us. I know how difficult this can be, believe me I have been in some hard situations. That is why we need to pray, we can’t do this alone we need Jesus. So, seek Jesus through prayer and faith, and through the world of God.
