Get Serious About Your Life
What are you doing? What did you do today? Anything that is going to help you achieve your dream? Anything that made you a happier, healthier I person?
Get serious about achieving your dreams and becoming the person you want to be. Perhaps that is part of the problem, you don’t know who you want to be. Stop trying to be like everyone else, stop trying to do what you think others want you to do and do what is in your heart. Take time to develop yourself.
Seek God, ask him to show you what your path is. Seek him diligently through prayer and study in the Bible. Perhaps your dream has been crushed by the words of an abusive person. Perhaps someone told you that you couldn’t do it. That’s a lie! You absolutely can do it. You can! It is possible! As it is written, ”For with God nothing will be impossible” Like 1:37. Also, Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible, ” Mathew 19:26. Also, we read, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13.
If Jesus said it then it is true! It is more than truth. The promises in the Bible are backed up by God. That’s a whole lot better than anything on earth. That means if he placed a Dream on your heart you can do it.
So get serious. Get up early. Jump out of bed and rejoice declare for this is the day the Lord has made. Get up read the word, pray and start working towards that dream. That may mean doing research, preparing, studying. Make your dream a reality. If you don’t know where to start let God lead you and do not be afraid to act when He tells you when He opens doors. Sometimes we have to jump even when we don’t think we are ready. Have faith and patience. Faith and patience are the power twins.
Get serious. This may mean stopping certain activities changing your life. It won’t always be easy, but nothing worthwhile is easy. except for maybe drinking coffee. You must preserve and find the joy in the perseverance. It is worthwhile and you were placed on this planet for a reason. Also, be careful who you share your dream with. There are people who will talk you right out of it, they will fill your ears with negativity and plant that seed in your heart. Beware of time stealers, people who come not to help or to be helped but to steal your valuable time with none sense. Let the Lord lead you. Revive your prayer life. Pray, pray, pray. Speak to God as if he is right next to you because he is. Jesus is there and want to guide you. There are many good books on prayer. I will have a post soon of book recommendations for this.
Don’t waste valuable time on a lot of frivolous things that don’t matter. Find your passion, find your dream and get serious about it.
